About Doctor Hart

Dr. Stephanie Hart graduated the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar in 1993, and attended the University Of Virginia School of Medicine, earning her M.D. in 1997. She then moved to California for her Pediatric residency at world renown Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills. During her residency, she also completed rotations at Stanford University and Oxford in England, completing her residency in 2000. Lured by its beautiful weather and warm beaches, she stayed in Los Angeles and started her own private practice. After the birth of their two children, she and her husband decided to move back to the DC area to be close to their families. She worked at Potomac Pediatric Care for more than 5 years before leaving to start her own solo practice in 2012. Dr Hart has a special interest in childhood nutrition and has taught nutrition classes. She lives in Potomac, Maryland with her husband and two children. She enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and cooking.

Dr. Hart has privileges at Shady Grove Hospital and is  currently on the hospital's Credentials Committee.  In the past, she served as the Shady Grove's Chief of Pediatric Staff.
